Cheese-Loaded Taco Sticks

There seems to be an endless supply of recipes that use pizza dough – and for good reason.

They are always so easy and so delicious, why wouldn’t you make them. These Cheese-Loaded

Taco Sticks are another delicious treat that ou are going to love. By using taco seasoning and

ground beef to make these awesome sticks, you will have a meal that everyone will love!! My f

amily does.

For this recipe, you will need:

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1 tube Pillsbury pizza dough
1 Colby jack and cheddar cheese sticks, halved
4 Tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried parsley

Preheat the oven to 425° F and coat a baking sheet with either a non-stick spray or a sheet of parchment paper. Brown the beef in a skillet, mixing in the taco seasoning mix. Don’t add water as you usually would; just stir the seasoning until all the ground beef is fully coated.

Spread the pizza dough across your baking sheet and cut it into 10 small rectangles. Spoon about a tablespoon  of beef into each rectangle. Place a piece of the halved cheese on top of the beef and roll the pizza dough closed. Make sure you pinch the seams closed/

Add garlic and parsley into the melted butter and brush it along the top of the dough. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Serve with your favorite taco dips like sour cream or salsa and enjoy!!

Makes 10 portions.
